Organised by Art-ER, R2B has been a reference point for the regional and national innovation system for 17 years. It serves as a meeting place for institutions, companies, universities, and innovators, and has over time attracted representatives from European institutions as well as national and international experts on innovation topics.
The subtitle of this edition was “Transition Transformation”, focusing on the ecological and energy transition, pervasive digital transformation affecting institutions, companies, territories, and citizens, and the skills and knowledge required to tackle the complex global challenges facing the country. The event was held in a hybrid and distributed format from 8 to 15 June, involving regional technopoles, associations, companies, and institutions in a series of activities aimed at finding a balance between science, technology, and nature.
During the “Transition Transformation” edition of Research2Business, LetzFair acted as technical partner, providing a range of advanced features in the desktop platform to ensure the event’s success.
To organise a hybrid event, allowing maximum participation both live and remotely, LetzFair hosted simultaneous live streams throughout the event. Additionally, multi-speaker webinars and online presentations were made accessible to all users anywhere, on any device, removing the need for physical presence.
The integrated support chat, active both during setup and throughout the event, provided timely assistance, resolving technical issues encountered by speakers or users and offering internal customer care that enhanced the overall experience.
Finally, detailed analytics from the platform offered organisers and exhibitors in-depth insights into user engagement and interactions, enabling them to measure the effectiveness of presentations and optimise future editions.
The integration of LetzFair transformed Research2Business into a successful hybrid and distributed event, promoting innovation and facilitating the ecological, energy, and digital transition through an effective synergy of science, technology, and nature.
Research2Business demonstrated how technology can enhance participation without sacrificing quality. The LetzFair platform allowed organisers to orchestrate complex structures with simple, accessible, and fully integrated tools.
This outcome confirms the value of a well-designed digital management system, capable not only of connecting participants, but also shaping a distributed, effective, and truly inclusive event, where innovation is reflected in the ways people participate, interact, and meet.
