An app between culture and innovation
In 2024, the fair has chosen LetzFair to offer its national and international visitors an experience characterised by simplicity, the features e innovation, capable of enhancing the vastness and complexity of the exhibition path composed of numerous exhibitors and an even greater number of titles to choose from. Thanks to the collaboration with MapsPeople, a Danish partner specialized in digital maps and indoor navigation, an exclusive app in two languages was born – Arabic and English – designed to accompany and guide participants during the visit.
THEactive listening of the organization's needs led us to create a targeted solution, with an essential but strategic set of features. The goal was one: to facilitate the visit experience, making it easy for the public to find the books and exhibitors of their interest in a large and articulated space such as the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. Through the interactive map integrated into the app, visitors were able to easily orient themselves among the pavilions, quickly identifying their destination and finding their way around thanks to the indoor navigation, where each exhibitor was accompanied by timely and updated information, offering a direct access point to discover the contents of the fair.
La Doha International Book Fair represented a significant challenge for LetzFair from several points of view: it was the first project created in Arabic, with all the necessary adaptations to ensure that navigation was as fluid, natural and user-friendly as possible. intuitive possible, as well as the official debut of interactive indoor mapping perfectly integrated into the app.
This event has demonstrated once again that innovation is not a question of quantity but of relevance: by offering a simple but efficient solution we were able to respond to the organizers' needs, resulting in a direct, targeted and successful user experience.
