The tender in which LetzFair participated, financed by the Emilia Romagna region, had as its primary objective that of encouraging the digital transition of local businesses, through support for the implementation of innovative projects, with a view to a broader corporate strategy that looked at the not only economic but also environmental and social impacts of its activities - supporting companies in introducing and implementing modern digital technologies in their production and organizational processes, in their products and services, in their distribution and sales chains, in their relationships with the various actors of value chains and supply chains and in communication systems.

LetzFair, as a digital company oriented towards continuous improvement thanks to the application of constantly evolving technologies, successfully obtained the award of financing thanks to a project aimed at improving performance, optimizing internal and external processes, and a process of general improvement of all technologies already in place.

Below are the details of the project:

End of project report: “Artificial intelligence and digital automation in the Letzfair production chain”

The aim of the project was to implement the level of digitalisation of LetzFair's business processes, through the acquisition and integration of latest generation software and hardware components.

We can affirm that the project applied to LetzFair was successful, optimizing the service offered and marking a significant transformation both in business processes and in the company positioning in the 4.0 technological landscape.

In detail:

  • Business process improvement

The implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in our production processes has led to a notable leap forward in technological evolution. Thanks to its ability to self-regulate based on use, both internally and by end users, it has reduced the expenditure of energy and resources previously necessary to achieve objectives. This recalibration of priorities now allows us to focus our energies on further implementation activities, leveraging the data collected from the automated processes already in place to trigger further improvement developments.

  • Development of sales and customer care processes:

Digital transformation has had a positive impact on sales and customer care processes, allowing for more intelligent and personalized management of interactions with customers and potential customers.

Thanks to the combination of "traditional" digital tools and new technologies, our sales processes have been automated in order to reduce response and contact times as much as possible, guaranteeing quality interactions and a methodical and direct approach.

At the same time, we have launched a further 100% AI-based implementation that will be able to interact autonomously with interlocutors, as well as learn based on interactions, in order to guarantee a high-quality, punctual and functional customer care service .

  • Enhancement of the software service/product:

The introduction of Artificial Intelligence has significantly enhanced our app and platform, laying the foundations for embarking on a path even more focused on innovation and new technologies.

LetzFair can now offer its customers highly personalized, dynamic and enhanced solutions in their functionality which, guided by AI, drastically reduce the amount of work for both internal operators (set up, activation etc.) and for customers ( design and communication customization, data analysis, assistance etc.).

The implemented cybersecurity provided constant diversified and strategic monitoring, ensuring high-level IT security. The system has proven to be effective in detecting and mitigating vulnerabilities, helping to preserve the integrity of sensitive data.

However, we recognize that cybersecurity is an ever-evolving field, so our commitment to maintaining high security standards will continue to be a priority.

Although the objectives have been achieved on multiple levels, we consider the project open to further development and optimization.

The dynamic nature of technology 4.0 leads to continuous evolutions that can turn into opportunities, so in the future we plan to explore, improve and add other complex and interconnected features to the system already in use, refining the application of artificial intelligence.

The objective is obviously to always keep up with the times and, when possible, anticipate them, so that LetzFair is able to become a leading company in its sector, thanks to its smart management and characterized by processes that are as efficient as possible.

In conclusion, the project has taken significant steps towards the creation of a cutting-edge supply chain and final service. However, remaining a constantly evolving technological project, we are committed to continuing to explore new frontiers and improve our service to respond to the emerging challenges of the digital market.
